max pulling weight?

We have two trucks that are different sizes.
DH has a 2010 2500 Chevy Silverado
I have a 2010 3500 Chevy Silverado
We have just ordered a van and are hoping to sell one of the trucks. DH wants to sell mine, but it is currently used for hauling our brute of a 5th wheel. I don't know where to look to find out how much DH's truck can pull. He wants to possibly get rid of mine and keep his, but we need to know the max pulling.
Our fifth wheel is a Toy Hauler, but we have never used the garage for hauling quads or bikes. When we take it anywhere, we typically use it as a play room for the girls.

Googling isn't turning up an answer as quickly as I hoped, but have you tried page 419 of your owners manual? Supposedly that lists ratings.

I am going to assume that they are both the Duramax diesel, so powertrain wise they have the same transmission and engine. As for the chassis ratings, look at the door sticker either on the pillar or door on the driver side. You can tow twice the number in the GVWR section with a 5th wheel or goose neck. I would be inclined to say keep the 3500 if all other things are equal (such as mileage, condition, options) as it will offer better handling when towing, however both should be able to handle a lightly loaded enclosed trailer.
