Right now I have a CCO in my mom's car and one in my van. I'm really liking the S4M but wondering how it compares to the CCO and CA65.

Compares how?
Are you asking about how much room it takes front to back?
It would be just slightly more than the cco but it's about the same as a sr35. I didnt have to moved seat to install it behind the driver.
Once you start lifting the headrest beyond the shell is where some people will run into problems if they have tight spaces.

Hope that helps some.

If you want side by side pictures I can snap a few during nap and post them if I can figure out how. I don't have the CCO or S4M installed right now, but if you just want some side by side pics I can get some.

Here's a few of my son in all 3, depending on what you're looking for I could take some more S4M vs Cco this weekend, my CA is gone now though.

But here's S4M showing head room:

And leg room:

And overall:

And a few months prior, but he's roughly the same size. Complete Air:

(FWIW, he's right at 40" in these pics)

And Coccoro:

It was just outgrown at that point, by weight and height.

Oh and here's a good one comparing CA to S4M front to back space:

CA is installed at a frowned upon 30 degrees, btw. :)

That's with the headrest all the way down, after about the 5th click (which is where my small 4 y/o is for RF) it starts to take up more front to back space as the headrests goes above the shell.

I'm trying to decide if I want to sell the ca in my mom's pt cruiser. Right now dd is in a cco behind drivers seat and ds is center rfing. My parents want the spot behind passenger open for someone to sit back there if need be.
