For anyone following the escapade...the very next day AFTER KQ ordered for me from Amazon and I ordered from Zulily and Judi bought me some stuff at Target, we were walking by a Zellers which I thought was already clearanced out. I got in and they have EVERY SINGLE Lite Sprite toy! :ROTFLMAO: Now, the store is apparently not closing until October, so their clearance price was only 20% off this point. And the prices were high as that's was Zellers typically did, price things high then have sales. So the tree for example, was $49.99, the wands were $39.99, not that great of a deal even with the 20%. So, I'm still saving a bunch of money over buying locally. TechnoKid wouldn't have the whole set if I'd had to buy them at those prices.
TechnoKid's eyes were as big as saucers seeing all the Lite Sprite stuff at Zellers! She wanted it SO bad. She was saying, "can I have just ONE sprite? I don't need everything, just ONE? I'll buy it with my tooth fairy money!" and it was so hard to tell her she couldn't even spend her own money on it without spilling the beans that I'd ordered everything for her already! So, I bought her a pet set since that's the one piece she didn't have. She kept saying, "but these don't light up". :ROTFLMAO:
I got a big box from Judi the other day and it had everything from Amazon that KQ ordered for me and the things that Judi bought. And one of my Zulily packages shipped last week and the other today. Pretty sure the first Zulily package will make it before her birthday (it has the Tree of Lite in it!), the 2nd may or may not. The 2nd package contains a duplicate wand, which she can live without for awhile as it's a spare for a friend to use, and also the waterfall playset. So worst case is she is without one playset on her birthday. No biggie.
