Elizabeth sleeps better in the monterey than nautilus....

She rides in the nautilus but I put her in the Monterey since Benjamin wasn't with us.

I'm itching to buy her a booster but want to wait and see what new stuff comes out!

Her hair over her face cracks me up!

I don't want to give her the Monterey because Benjamin still sleeps in the car.

the hair cracked me up, too.

I don't know what booster to recommend simply because the Monterey's new belt guides are proving to be quite a pita to some.

I know there has been talk of Diono saying it's okay to bypass them, but I LIKE using belt guides on hbbs.

I know the probooster is a no-go for ya.

SIGH... I know that a lot of us had wished the monterey fitted slim kids, too, but I was hoping they'd come out with a second booster... so they had one for the huge kids and one for the slim, not change a seat that worked into a seat that gives problems!

Okay, mini vent over.

What about a Maxi Cosi Rodi? If I remember correctly head support isn't a problem in your vehicle and the wings on the Rodi are nice and ample.

There's also the Safety 1st Boost Air Protect

 That's why we call it the magical sleeping seat in my vehicle! LOL! When it works, it's amazing!

I, too, hate that the new belt guides are problematic. Maybe see if the new guides work on Elizabeth -- OR on Benjamin -- in their seating positions, and then if it's functional you know it's an option!

It's AMAZING how well DD sleeps in the Monterey. I was really ready to sell it  But the belt guide isn't an issue for us (it retracts fine, stays in place, etc). And we have captain's so the 'requiring support' thing doesn't matter. DD is obsessed with the fact that it has cupholders. In fact (and I shudder to say this), if I was given a choice, I *might* say I like the Monterey over my beloved Vivo :duck: I can't believe I just said that.

I want a seat with latch and want tan or green. I was going to get her a kiddy cruiserfix pro but it is so short. If something else doesn't come out before she gets too tall for the nautilus I'll probably get one.

I LOVE my monterey, I wish they hadn't changed anything or I would get another one in a heartbeat! And I have a very slim child and it fits him so well. I am eventually going to need a second booster, I'm just hoping something great comes out soon! Or that Recaro decides to add anchors
