If you have multiple Myride 65 covers...

Where did you find them? I have the Spiral one and wanted to get a more girly one, but after contacting Graco, they told me I could only get Edgemont Dots, which is not girly at all...I don't understand why if I'm willing to pay for a new cover, why Graco won't let me choose the pattern that I want. I found one on Ebay but if I don't win the auction, I don't know where else to look! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

We have a Swap section here, some members might be currently selling their MyRide covers. I picked up mine real cheap. Be sure you read the rules first though.

The whole reason I signed up for the site was cause when I was googling covers, I kept finding links to here, but this is the message I keep getting when I go there...
jgomez411, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I think it said something like you need 300 posts or something like that but ugh so frustrating!

Yes, there were a couple of girly covers in swap here. You can also go through gracobaby.com, under order replacement parts just enter the model # of the seat cover you want and a dom. I just did a quick look, and there were out of sonata and cuddle. So it's possible they were are out of stock and edgemont dots is the only one currently in stock. Their customer service will probably also tell you the new covers with graco safety surround won't work on older myrides, but I'm assuming they will.

You can also buy a subscription to car-seat.org to gain access to swap, it's relatively cheap.

You can either buy a subscription, or find a thread where somebody is already selling a cover. You can post in an existing thread, but you can't start your own.

Ahh ok. I don't really want to pay for anything lol but I didn't know you could respond to a thread that was already started. Thanks!

Too funny! Hi jgomez, :happy-wavehello: I'm the person you're bidding against on eBay for that purple my ride cover :) Graco have been out of stock of girly my ride covers for about three months now, super frustrating

Ohh ok. My brother has been bidding on it for me...but I don't want to pay $40+ for a used cover! It's not that I really love Alma, it's just that I want a girly cover (I have Spiral right now) and Alma is the only one i can find. I only paid $85 for the seat brand new so I can't justify spending so much on a used cover, I'm better off just waiting til Graco gets some in stock or I find one on clearance. Someone is selling an Alma one on here for $50 but it's missing the harness covers, and honestly I'm not in that much of a rush that I'm just going to settle.

LOL!!! To be honest I'm not head over heels in love with the Alma cover either, but it seems that girly My Ride covers are few and far between right now. The one on ebay right now that we're bidding on is also missing the harness covers (unless she found them, she was going to clean out her garage and look for them). I'm hoping that a girly cover will make my toddler want to sit in her carseat more, she's fighting me tooth and nail right now everytime we have to go in the car. Honestly i think she just wants to be forward facing, she keeps trying to buckle herself into her brother's Frontier. :)

LOL! Life is funny. When Graco offered to replace my cover for me, they actually offered Alma and the rep and I stated together "That's just too much purple!" (of course, we were basing our opinion off the stock photo). I ended up with Sonata.

It's just funny that one person may not like a cover all that much but a whole lot of people are in love with it. Had I known that such an uproar would have occurred over Alma, I would have gotten it too!:p .

To answer your question, I ended up getting a spare cover (DECO) off of Craigslist for $35. I salivated over this cover and just had to have it.

I'm really wanting Cuddle actually and I'm hoping I can catch it on sale pretty soon! We FFed my daughter as soon as we legally could because it just got to where she would scream bloody murder the entire car ride and I would start having panic attacks. I wanted to ERF but I figured it was safer for me to be able to focus on the road and not on her.

I'm hoping I can find one on Craigslist but so far I haven't had any luck! I am so impatient when I find something I really want, even though I know my husband will tell me it's a waste of money haha

pish... it's whatever is available in stock... and just to be safe, when you go under "replacement parts" first, go in the seats, find the cover you want, and jot down the model number... then make up a reasonably accurate DOM, and you can get in there and see if the cover is available, if it is, you can order it online and BOOM... the seat can change colors :D

I've been stalking Gracos page but they don't have any girly seat covers in stock! I think I'm gonna call them once my hubby gets paid and see if they can help me out!

I too am trying to find girly covers, we have cuddle that has a stain I just can't get out :(

How do you wash it? 99% of the time, Spray&wash, regular Dawn dish soap and/or Oxyclean works on stains for me! I put mine in the washer on delicate and have never had any problems...I managed to get refried beans out of our Chicco stroller (which was such a pain cause of the fat) but we finally got it out!
