Thanks everyone, I really do appreciate your time.

I actually HAVE read and re-read the manual but with 10 month old twins running around maybe I am not absorbing it as well as I should.

I did adjust the head wings after I read in the manual about them having to be in the highest position if the lower to harness slots are being used. However It seems like my girls have no support beside the head now. Again, the installer put them all the way down.

I'll try and find someone in my area who knows what they are doing and pay to have these re-installed. Hopefully the next "technician" actually knows what they are doing. I assumed the 1st technician knew what he was doing, when it has become very apparent that may not be the case.

Sorry to those that think I was wasting their time and didn't bother to read the manual-that is not the case. When this is completely foreign and new it can be a little confusing.

Were you able to find the storage location? I have both of mine installed right now, and am stuck in the house post op, but I could snap a picture for you tomorrow. It just clips onto the shell at the top where there is a hole.

Thank you. But I did find a picture on a blog linked to this site of the seat basically out of the box and could see where the tether clips on. Also saw which cubby houses the long strap. Since I didn't unpack them I didn't know where they were supposed to go and I dunno if I am blind but I cannot see any descriptions in the manual.

Seats are very secure and the angle looks 45 by eye balling it. Think we are good and having someone double check them this week for me. In a couple months I plan to add the angle adjuster so I will make sure I go over everything with the technician helping me out so I am confident doing everything.

Thanks again!

That's totally understandable and I didn't mean to imply you were wasting anybody's time. Reading and understanding the manual while also managing 10 month old twins is probably impossible. What needs to happen is to have someone else watch the twins for an hour while you find a quiet place (maybe a bubble bath? A local coffee shop?) to concentrate on the manual. If you'd been able to actually absorb what you were reading you would not have been so confused by the techs who installed the seats. This is my biggest beef with the Radian - it has so many features it takes a lot more effort to learn than most other seats. Nobody really expects to get a car seat and have to study like they have a final exam coming up in order to use it. It seems like making your way through the manual between feedings and diaper changes and "Take that out of your mouth!" and "Don't poke your brother's eyes out!" ought to be enough, but in the case of the Radian it really isn't.
