Recaro Signo Shipping Question

Getting TOTALLY frustrated with Recaro and Gayle. :thumbsdown: It is now my understanding that it will be the 2nd or 3rd week in September. I emailed back and forth with Gayle asking what I thought to be a few very simple questions, but she kept ignoring one in particular, so I gave up... Every time I asked, she ignored the question, then finally I wrote a hypothetical scenario of ordering from Elite Carseats, would it go by way of them or come straight to me? She said "I recommended ordering from them. Thanks!" :doh:

If I preorder a Signo, will it ship from Recaro to me, or go by way of the company I ordered from, then to me?

You should ask the company you are buying from this questions. Some on-line sites have Recaro ship direct (I saw one store that did this and said it in the description) and some go to the store and then to you. I think it you call Elitecarseats.com and ask they should be able to answer it for you.

I feel your frustration on the delayed shipping dates. I have been waiting months for the new Recaro's, and now I need to buy the Como because I don't think I can wait on the Signo. I am bummed, and very frustrated having to wait sooooooooooooo long. I think if they just said, "by the end of the summer" instead of 2-3 week delays, 4-5 times. That would have been much better.

I wish she could have just said, please ask the company you are ordering from. So simple. I just figured with all the preorders, maybe all of them would be the same, all shipping from Recaro, or all going by way of the company first. I guess I'll just wait some more. Like you said, I wish they had just said, end of the summer, instead of committing and then changing the date so many times. I would be highly POed if I had to get the Como instead! Luckily Caleb still has an additional slot on the EB seat he's in. I just moved him to the third slot around 2 years old, so the next and last usable slot is still above his shoulders. I hate that it is taking so long. I'm ready for him to be tethered RF. And I feel like he be more comfy in the new seat. Bleh.

I feel your frustration too. I feel like I've been waiting forever for the Signo to come out. I pre-ordered it months ago from www.strollandgo.com and after I ordered it I emailed them to see if my cc would be charged immediately or not until it shipped. They replied very promptly and told me that they had charged my cc already and forwarded my order to Recaro so that it will ship directly from them to me with no in-between person. That's what I was hoping for so I was very happy pre-ordering from them. :thumbsup: Now if Recaro would just get to it already!

I will email Elitecarseats and ask. I pre ordered two Signo's from them. I will ask if they come directly from Recaro or not, and get back to you.

Here is the email Elitecarseats sent me July 16th. I just emailed them again and asked if there was an updated arrival date and to confirm it goes to them before me.
