My dad's oldsmobile was totaled. He is now looking for a replacement car, wants something that gets 40mpg and fits carseats well. He has the chance to get a great deal on a 2011 Ford Focus, but we know nothing about this vehicle. Is this carseat friendly? I need to be able to get two seats in the back (he has a bigger vehicle for when we would need 3seats in there). Can you comfortably ERF in this vehicle and not have your passenger eating dash?

I'm not sure about the new models, but the older ones are car seat friendly. We borrowed my BIL's while on vacation and there was more room in it than in my SUV! I had a Complete Air RF in there (not at the 45* angle) and there was plenty of room in the passenger seat.

That's what my dh drives and we've had a great experience with carseats and roominess. It's a great car. A good value too. You get more features for a decent price and it'll last forever.
However, I've been van shopping and my best advice is to bring your seats and try them. I've been surprised by how mine fit.
