Compliant True Fits

There has been some discussion lately about when the True Fit Premier became compliant. I just spoke to a CS rep and here's what she told me.

The True Fit without the ARB is not compliant.

The True Fit Premier with the ARB is compliant, and always has been. I asked for a date at which it was certified to the new standards, promised I wasn't trying to be difficult, and she was unable to give me one. She got what I was asking, but didn't have the info and didn't know how to get it.

So...if you've got a contact (Snowbird25ca!) within The First Years/Lamaze, maybe now's the time to ask?

Sent an email yesterday requesting that information and asking permission to share it here. I'll be sure to reply if I get a response.

K, maybe this is a dumb question and obviously I'm waiting on snowbird25ca, but I understand the ARB feature would take care of that part of the requirement, but when did the labelling for 22lbs and walking unassisted appear? I get that they may have always met compliance but ya know...that labelling thing is kinda important in my mind...

It's always been labeled as 1 year and 23lbs to FF. There is no requirement in the standard to require 'walking unassisted' on the labels, or in the manual. There's a loophole that some are using. Britax and Dorel state it, others (so far) do not.
