My Pinterest CPS board helped!

Tonight I got bored and made a Pinterest board (pun not intended) with links and videos for car seat safety. I put a lot of videos, informational articles, and links to Chely and Anne's crashes.

I have an old girlfriend with 3 kids - 4y8m, 2y3m, 12m. We discussed car seat safety when she bought the youngest a convertible a few months ago. She was receptive to my info about keeping her RF and removing aftermarket pads. We live apart, so it was all on FB. I tried to make the case to turn the middle child around, but she didn't.

She commented on my board tonight that she had just spent over an hour reading and watching everything I had posted and was so thankful she had seen it. She remembered what I had told her before, but it really hit home this time - her mom just totaled her car last week and had the 2yo's seat with her, but luckily the child wasn't in the car. It was a huge wake up call and she didn't know the seat needed to be replaced. She is buying a new seat to re-RF her and wants to reharness her 4yo

That's awesome! Im glad she was so receptive.

I was looking through Diono's Pinterest and was horrified by some of their accessories. I mean, I already knew they existed, but some people lately have been eating up everything they see on Pinterest as genius.

I'd love to see some CPS Pinterest boards. Can you post a link?

Yes! I was planning to actually, but its been a busy work morning. And I was hoping anybody else who has one (or who makes one) will link theirs also.

This is the youngest. I'm trying to figure out what seat this is. I know it's Evenflo, but what model? I'm looking on their site and can't find that pattern.

And yes, she is pregnant again.

Looks like a Triumph to me, possibly an original Triumph (not Advance).

I don't think so. Remember the original triumph had that weird double harness? There was another bowl shaped one with a more traditional harness, but the name is totally escaping me. I only ever saw one if them.

I swear she just got it. But I will double check. I thought I remember her status saying she was going to buy a new seat.
