Went to TRU today and happened to have my camera with me so I put DD in a few seats I never played with to see the fit. DD's a little chunker at 41lbs. and she just turned 3 on the 2nd. Here is a thread from a while back to see how she fit in a few convertibles.
All the seats are with the headrest in top position to compare the fit/size.
The Safety First Rumi Air is just really small to me, I don't think DD would have much time left in it in harness mode. I don't think it would be a terrible seat if it was bigger but it seems a little cheaply made to other seats in this price range.
This was the top headrest position :

Next we tried the Baby Trend Fast Back, and I really wasn't much of a fan of the seat. EmmaCPST made a good thread about it and I agree with what she said, seems overpriced and the chest clip is too small.. I also wasn't crazy on how the headrest adjusts :

DD 'fixed' the harness:

But hey, we got a while to go in harness mode:

Next up was the Argos, still the biggest amount of growth room left in it and seems to me that from the materials it's still the nicest one.

Harness, it wasn't super tightened and the first thing DD did was take the covers off, the straps were tight on her neck though:

Which one would I actually buy out of all of these: the Nautilus .
