Has anyone ever shipped a BJCMD?

Just curious, in case I decide to sell my purple BJCMD to fund the GT model. I will try CL first, but if I don't have any luck, I was thinking of listing it on Swap. I saved the box it came in, but not sure if shipping would be ridiculous.

Probably not, because I am hoping that the purple will make it sell faster! I am bummed that the only colors that the GT Double comes in is Grey (Shadow) and Black or Shadow/Orange.

Figured that much but hey it doesn't hurt to ask, lol. I just got mine today so if you need box measurements let me know.

I live in Cincinnati and shipped my maclaren to CA. It was 18 lbs and the box was 44x15X 13 (so it was two regular boxes put together). It cost $25.

You can get the measurements of the box and find the weight online (maybe add 2 lbs for packing materials and box weight). Give people the info and your zip and they can figure shipping themselves. ;-)

FedEx always beat USPS hands down a few years ago but I've been pricing them lately to ship things on eBay and they are no where competitive with USPS anymore- at least in the things I've checked.

I bought my bjcmd off ebay and the seller paid $100+ to send it usps express. They'd didn't take the wheels off or anything to make it more compact and obviously didn't use the cheapest method out there, I only paid $105 including shipping so I kinda didn't get why they shipped it with express. I just shipped my bjcs w/ doubles kit in a fairly large box for under $40. If you go USPS the box needs to measure under 108" combined length+girth. I always check UPS and Fedex before sending it usps.

So you paid $105 for the stroller and the seller paid $100 to ship it?! So they basically sold it for $5?!

I shipped the Mac parcel post from Cincinnati to CA. Dropped off at the airport post office (flying out to buy my BJCE) and it arrived either on Monday or Tuesday. No way I would ever ship express! Lol
