Question Seat Covers Safe to use with Car Seats?

I was really wanting to get some decent looking black seat covers for my front and rear seats, but hadn't thought about how safe this would be with a car seat install?
Ds will be in a FR85 that's on it's way now and we might possibly have my nephew who rides in a booster every once in a great while...(think once per every few months or so).
So are fitted seat covers safe to use with his FR85?

Anyone know? I haven't bought them yet, but have them in my cart at walmart.com with some other things, but if they aren't safe to use then I plan not to buy them.

I am not a tech but I have read here that if you have a car with side air bags or air bags that come from the seat then they are not safe to use because they will interfere with the air bags

I wouldn't think it would be any worse than a receiving blanket under the seat (which is perfectly fine). My only concern would be if the cover was thick/baggy/bulky under/behind the car seats, or if it changed the seat belt geometry of where the buckles come up thru the cover.

I could make sure the cover doesn't become bunched up under the seat and as far as the geometry of the seatbelt coming out I could always do a little cutting if I had to, to make sure the seatbelt wouldn't be coming out at a different angle or be constricted. Maybe this is a question for Britax themselves. I don't want to put all the effort I can into my sons safety then find out I'm hindering it with a seat cover. I normally think seat covers are ugly and tacky looking, but I've found a couple that I think are nice and better looking then what the seats look like now.
