Looking for a great price on a Graco Snugride 30 or a front-adjusting Snugride 22. Any suggestions on obscure sites to check out? Multiple google searches aren't really working out for me so far. :(

Also, what do all y'all think about buying used car seats in the classifieds? Terrible idea?

Used, no. You don't know how it was treated. I have seen a lot of used seats with missing parts plus some people have sold crashed seats.

That's what crossed my mind when I saw a seat for sale for a smokin' price on Craigslist. Figured it would be safest to go brand-new instead. Now I just need to find a great price on a seat!

NoBetterDeal.com, Wayfair.com, and Albeebaby.com are sites you should check. Right now Albeebaby is having their New Year's sale and offering 20% off of non-discounted items. They have one pattern of the Snugride 30 for $99.99. They offer free shipping for items over $100 also.

I would probably go for the Snugride 30 instead of the 22 as the bottom slots are lower and would fit a newborn of varying birth weight better than the 22.
