Hamilton Beach® classic chrome 2-slice toasters Recalled by Hamilton Beach Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at: Mass merchandisers and department, grocery and home center stores nationwide from August 2011 through November 2011 for between $19 and $34. Also, some of these toasters were sent to consumers as replacements for model 22600 toasters recalled in June 2011.

Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: WINN), is voluntarily recalling Sunrise Assorted Flavor Gummy Bears sold in the self-serve bulk area of select store produce departments between November 14 and December 13 due to a remote possibility of metal contamination. The gummy bears included in this recall have been sold in five Winn-Dixie stores in Florida and Louisiana

Hannaford, a Scarborough, Maine-based grocery chain, is recalling an undetermined amount of Hannaford, Taste of Inspirations, Nature's Place brand fresh ground beef products that may be contaminated with a strain of Salmonella Typhimurium. The various ground beef packages bear sell-by dates of Dec. 17, 2011 or earlier and were sold at Hannaford stores throughout Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont.

Pacific International Marketing (“Pacific”) is working with the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) and California Department of Public Health to coordinate a recall of Cilantro for potential contamination with Salmonella. The product was distributed in California, Arizona, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Indiana, South Carolina, and Missouri through retailers.

Advanced Animal Nutrition today announced a voluntary recall of its dry Dog Power Dog Food- due to aflatoxin levels that were detected above the acceptable limit. The affected dry dog food products were distributed in the following states – Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
