PM issues!

I am/ have been unable to get to my inbox to read PMs. If I go to my PMs it says there are 0 messages (and I have some) and where it says "your notifications" it says I have 2 unread messages. How do I get my PMs?

Yesterday I had a notification but when I clicked nothing was new. If someone tried to PM and I didn't respond try again!

Sometimes the unread messages indicator doesn't seem to work for some people. I'm not sure exactly what causes this.

On the other hand, you should be able to receive messages and view them. I checked your account and everything seems set up normally.

We did have an issue a while back, so you might check this thread for a few things to try also:

I am going to send you a test message now to see if you receive it.

Incidentally, if none of those works. I can clear all your private messages. That should clear all the counters, too. Of course, there will be no way to recover them if you have any important information there, so it is a last resort.

I haven't tried anything in the above thread, but I now have 3 notifications but still no messages in my inbox.

ETA: Cleared all of my history and cache and it still isn't working. I am using Chrome now but am also having the same issue in Safari.

You can't see any messages at all, or just the new ones?

I would definitely try the above steps, as others had similar issues when this problem happened a while back.
