    I'm feeling like I'm making a difference...

one tiny step at a time!

I'm slowing checking things off my car seat advocacy check list:

Make handout for dd's preschool parents? Check.
Get local news to do a story of car seat safety? Check.
Email all my friends with links and info? Check.
Buy a Regent? (Well that's really just for me. ) Check.
Put car seat advocacy bumper stickers on my car? Check.
Write letter to the editor? Check.

And tomorrow, I am donating a car seat to a friend who is currently using a ff-ing OHS for her 12 month old son. What's worse? She knows better and doesn't care to improve the situation!

She read my letter to the editor and said, "Oh that's good that you're getting the info out there!" I'm thinking, "Yeah, for people like you!"

Anyway, she is (luckily) accepting my temporary gift of one of Caroline's outgrown seats. It's an AO, but at least it's a 5 pt harness! It's 3 1/2 years old. I feel like saying to her, "I'll let you borrow it, but only if you put it in rear facing!" But I know she won't go for that and might end up declining the seat altogether.

Next up on my list is become a tech!
