This is a bit of an impossible task with the rapid change that's happening right now. Is there a specific reason you're looking for a list?

Yup, totally hearing you about a hard task to do at this point in time with the changes due soon. However, can we even have a list of those currently available in stores? I have not been in the stores buying/checking out carseats for about a year now (other than buying the Frontier XT) and not up to date with what's out there. Thanks.

Infant Seats

• Baby Trend Loc Flex - called EZ Flex Loc on 2012 compliant seats.
• Britax Chaperone
• Chicco KeyFit
• Combi Centre - Discontinued (don't know if it'll be back in a 2012 form or not)
• Combi Centre ST/DX - Discontinued (don't know if it'll be back in a 2012 form or not)
• Cosco OnBoard (Sure Fit is same seat - shared manual.)
• Cosco Designer22,Eddie Baur Infant - Discontinued (don't know if it'll be back in a 2012 form or not)
• Cosco SureFit (On Board is same seat - shared manual. I believe they're all marketed as On Board now.)
• Evenfo Embrace Discontinued
• First Years Via (only available in travel system at Zellers): discontinued
• Graco 32/35 - Snugride 35 has changed enough that I would only put Snugride 35. Reviewers may mention strollers and the new 2012 seat won't fit on strollers the same as the safe seat and SR32. weight limit has also changed on the 2012 seat.
• Graco Snugride
• ORBIT BABY G2 Car Seat & Base Don't know.
• Primo Viaggio SIP discontinued
• Quinny/Maxi-Cosi Quinny and Maxi Cosi seats aren't actually the same seat so I wouldn't put quinny there. Sears sells Quinny branded seats that are actually back adjust designer 22 seats. Maxi Cosi is back for 2012. I don't know if there are any changes or not - I expect in-vehicle handle position to change.
• Safety 1st Infant seat don't know if this will be around for 2012 or not

Add:

- Britax B-Safe
- On Board Air
- Evenflo Secure Ride 35
- Evenflo Embrace 35
- Infantino Via 35
- Cosi 22 (same seat as onboard but is branded as maxi cosi)
- Maxi Cosi Euro 30 (I think this release date isn't until new year mind you.)
- Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30

I would hold off on putting Designer 22 seats on there in their various names until we know if they'll be back for 2012 yet or not.

Convertible Seats and Combination Seats
• Britax Advocate CS discontinued
• Britax Boulevard/Boulevard CS (Click'n Safe) discontinued (I'd suggest splitting these in to separate categories.
• Britax Roundabout 55
• Britax Frontier discontinued
• Britax Marathon discontinued
• Compass/The First Years True Fit discontinued
• Cosco
• Dorel/Cosco/Eddie Bauer 3 in 1 discontinued
• Evenflo Generations discontinued
• Evenflo Maestro
• Evenflo Symphony discontinued
• Evenflo Traditions/Chase/Vision Only sold as Chase as of 2012 I believe. I don't think it's been called the vision or traditions for a few years in Canada actually but I'm not totally sure about that..
• Evenflo Titan 2012 compliant name is Titan Elite
• Evenflo Triumph Advance discontinued
• Graco MyRide discontinued - last I heard Graco was finishing their final testing for 2012 compliance. I don't know if there will be a name change or not.
• Graco Comfortsport discontinued
• Graco Nautilus
• Safety 1st Apex discontinued
• Safety 1st Complete Air discontinued - compliant seat is called Complete Air LX - it differs from the pre-2012 LX model though so it's possible the actual packaging/model name may be different than what is on TRU website.
• Safety 1st Enspira discontinued - don't know if it's replaced for 2012 or not
• Safety 1st Vantage Point discontinued - would guess it will be back for 2012 compliance but haven't seen one yet.
• Sunshine Kids Radian 65 discontinued
• Sunshine Kids Radian Premier discontinued
• Sunshine Kids Radian XT 2010 discontinued

Aack - is this because they will only be carrying the Rebound model?
I'm still stalking the TRU website, waiting for the TFP to be listed!

Yes, that's right. And for some reason the new premier has disappeared from the system search listing I found it in before. (And I don't know how to otherwise find the number to see what's actually happening in terms of shipping.)

Yikes - so maybe I'm waiting for nothing? Any chance it's not going to be available after all? Should I start researching alternate choices?

I don't recall how long you have left before you need a new seat. It may be a good idea to research other options so that you have a back-up plan if you need to buy a seat before it becomes available.

The TF has been a very popular seat so I fully expect to see it show up again - especially since they have the Premier model that's been available in Canada in the past anyways. We have the Via 35 from the same company, so we know that they haven't pulled out of the Canadian market - so hopefully it's not too much longer before it shows up. I just can't give a guess as to date right now.

Depends on when the next growth spurt is - she's just about OK in her SR35 at the moment, and I can get another little bit of room by putting her in a disposable diaper instead of a cloth one.
It's hard to tell how quickly they'll grow at 18mos, though! Tends to come in spurts, but I think she just had one, so I hope I'll be OK for a few more weeks.
My second choice was the MyRide, but you can't buy that at the moment, either!

I posted in the sears thread that at a New Brunswick sears I found what appears to be a new Graco MR its and LX65 but I didnt look super close or read the sides but it had different infant insert and material than the old ones? So unless its a model I've never seen of the MR I'd say they have the new one in stock, they don't have it online at all though
