Pics! RA55 in Silverado ext cab

Just like the title says :)

We gained about 3" in the front passenger seat! (I did have a rfing Ave there, at a 30* angle.) Installation was crazy easy with the lap/shoulder belt (no LATCH). I was a little scared of the lockoff after all I've read, but it was easy-peasy. I was pleasantly surprised how much shell DS has over his head. It's easily 4", probably more. (He's 1.5 yo, 75% for height. I can't recall his torso measurement. Regardless, I don't forsee a problem getting to 3 yo rfing in this seat.) I was a bit taken aback at how much less leg room he has than in the Ave, even the Scenera. (Apparently his height is mostly in his legs...) That, combined with the higher sides (especially compared to the Ave) could make it a little interesting getting him into it as he grows. ;-)

I didn't try a ffing install. I was too excited to get it in like we needed it and let DS try it out. But, just sitting it on the seat, I *think* it *might* work without getting all up on the glass like the RA50. I can play with it more later, if anyone has any requests. We have a crew cab and Dodge ext cab available. My only other model is a 3.5 yo, though...

I am super-thrilled with this seat rfing in this seating position in this vehicle, though. :) <3

Funny little side note: DS is so silly excited about the chest clip on the new seat. It's so cute. :) The Dorel ones frustrated him... Funny how something so simple can be such a big deal. :)

And, just bc it was cute, DD's rabbit in her "seat":

LOL! Oh, yeah. :) I forgot they're pink... I was doing mine, then DD wanted hers. So, of course, DS wanted his. You know how it goes. The coolest part is that DH said to let him join in when he asked. Love! <3
