So I am not sure if this should go here or not but I had to vent to some one who would understand!! I saw a triumph advanced installed in the middle seating position of a sedan today... With the middle seat belt and tether... Oh and the passenger side seat belt fed through the rear facing belt path and buckled into the drivers side buckle!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh how can people even half way think that could be right?!?!?!?

Sorry to vent but I am seeing A LOT of problems lately and needed to share the latest.

Last week, I saw a RF Triumph with LATCH through the RF path, then seatbelt through the FF path. Seriously? Is it that hard to read the manual?

I helped a good friend of mine with her seat. It was a Keyfit base and she had it installed with seatbelt and LATCH. She said she couldn't get it in tight enough with one and thought both would be safer. People just don't realize. The doubling up makes sense to them. Allot of misuse would be taken care of if parents would RTFM but apparently that is too complicated.

I saw a mom pull a less than 2 yer old out of a ff Titan yesterday. I was wondering why the toddler was leaning so far forward. Then I saw the mom unbuckle the seatbelt from OVER the car seat and pull the child out. I was dumbfounded. Reading the manual isn't really that hard is it?

At Kmart today I saw a mom with a baby who looked about the same size as my tiny 13 month old (18 pounds 27 inches) put him ff in a evenflo ohs seat that looked exactly like the one we used for my now 13 year old sister

In the school parking lot I saw a 4 year-old buckle his seatbelt over his carseat (a 5-point harnessed seat, uninstalled) like a booster. I mentioned to the dad that that isn't safe. He said, "I thought he was old enough now?". I told him that he's technically "old enough" to use a booster, but the seat he's using isn't a booster seat. I honestly think he had no idea. The seatbelt wasn't even touching the kid. I have no idea how he thought that was safe.

It is sooo sad how many people have no idea and don't bother to research it :(
