Seems more of a hassle to me. I always just loosened the straps almost all the way then put the baby in.

yeah those seem like a PITA I loosen them all the way and then slide them where the seatbelt goes for baseless install.

WAY too much extra trouble IMO. I had no problem sliding my hand under the baby and grabbing the strap.

And that baby needed her chest clip raised and the harness tighter.

I'd like it if they were buttons. Velcro would wake my kids out of a coma and those seem a little annoying but if they used buttons, I'd buy it.

I love watching people pretend to struggle with a simple task in an attempt to sell a product.

um... in an infant seat, why not just loosen the straps and put the hip portion in the belt guides that you would use for a baseless install? (not gonna work on all of them, but requires less effort than these things)
