I just realized I havent sent in the registration cards for my Cosco Scenera that we've had for almost 2 months, and our Radian 65 that we've had about 2 weeks. I can still send them in right? I wasnt sure if you can only register them if you do it immediately or not.

oh and yeah I would recommend registering online!

I sent in the card for our regent as soon as it arrived, but like 3 months later it still hadnt been registered! lol! I knew this because there was a recall on the cover and I never got a notice about it. So from now on Ill do it online or on the phone to make sure it doesnt get lost in the mail.

It's not really a time sensitive thing. You can register years later to make sure you're on the lists for recalls. As techs, we're trained to encourage caregivers to register all unexpired seats, regardless of how long they've been used. You can do them both online.

The Canadian Radian manual online says to register it within 30 days. It's listed under the 1 year warranty section.

The Canadian Radian manual online says to register it within 30 days. It's listed under the 1 year warranty section.

This would be in order to have the warranty in effect - although as long as you had your proof of purchase, they should still honor any warranty repairs stuff within the first year anyways.

In terms of registrations in general though, there is no time limit. The primary purpose of sending in the registration card is so that you can be contacted in case of a recall. If you're the 2nd owner of a seat, you could go online and register it even.

Interesting statistic from my tech training course - only 1% of owners register their car seats.

I just registered the Radian online, where can I go to register the Scenera online? I went to the Coscojuvenile website and couldnt find a registration spot anywhere.

Oh, and I went out to my car to get the serial number off of the radian and I took it out to look at it, I thought the numbers would be on the back, not the side. Anyway so I was installing it again and pulling on the sides to make sure it was tight in there and heard the foam on the sides squeeking, do you think I could have torn or damaged the foam by pulling on the sides?
Before we had the radian or our scenera we had a Graco Comfortsport that I threw away because one of the foam sides came completely off, could that happen to the Radian? I just bought it, will the foam damage so easily, or will it squeek when tugged at but remain safe?

Also, if anything goes wrong with the seat, will they replace it or parts of it for free? Would I need proof of purchase, like my receipt or just the serial number off the seat is good enough?

on coscojuvenile.com, click on Update My Profile (in the blue bar on the left). Then click that you are a new user and then register a product (all the way to the right). You don't have to create a profile unless you want to.
