Question Which carseat for accord & civic

Hope I found the right forum for this question. A good friend is looking at buying a second car seat for DS. He is 7 months old & on the tall side (dad is tall/mom is avg). The cars are 2004 Civic and 2001 Accord. Sometime in the near future they may buy a new car. It would likely be a CRV or Pilot. They have a Britax Boulevard 70 for the main car.
She and I were talking about the second car seat. Is there a better choice than the Boulevard? Price isn't an issue as they can save the money & buy one in a few months. (they still have the infant seat as the second seat) But if there is a terrific seat that is easy to use, install & re-install that costs less that would be great.

The question: What seat(s) should they be looking at for a second carseat. TIA

For a tall child, I would look at the First Years True Fit, Radian and the Complete Air. The Radian would be my first choice since it has the higher rf limit. The True Fit would be a good choice if the baby is tall, but thin. It only has a 35lb rf limit. All of these seats have a taller shell than the blvd so they'll last longer both rf and ff.

Another option would be to get a Scenera for the least used car. It's a pretty basic seat, but it would work well since it's not as big as the other seats. It could be replaced with a combination seat in 2 to 3 years.
