What's funny is that I specifically didn't buy these because I didn't trust the metal on them. I figured they'd eventually be recalled for lead or something. I guess I was half-right.

Oh, darn! Those are so cute, and I've never seen them before. If I had, I'm sure I would have bought them!

I hope they fix the problem. My daughter would love those.

When we bought them my guy was 4, so I wasn't worried about him chewing on them. But now that DD (9m) is playing with toys I wouldn't let her have them because there's something that seems 'wrong' about babies chewing on metal.

The recall is for them breaking and being chokable, which I don't think is an issue with my 5 and 7yo's, but as a policy I don't like to have recalled toys around here. Eventually all of our toys get passed along and I wouldn't want to forget and give it to someone that would give it to their under 3 kid.
