Seat choices for in home daycares

Totally hypothetically question here.... If you were suggesting one of each of the 4 types of seats to an in home daycare provider and money is no issue, which seats would you choose? Ease of use is important, it would be used for different kids, and narrow might be nice for 3 across situations. Thoughts?

For the convertible seat, I'd go with something high up on a base that has a no-rethread harness (ETA, TF). They are wide seats, but the high bases puzzle well with the right combo. I would want a no-rethread harness with different FF and RF kids :)

Convertibles - No rethread harness and high weight and height limits - So Evenflo Momentum and Radian. Probably one of each, using the radian for the same kid so it doesn't need to be changed and can fit 3 across. And using the momentum in a situation that doesn't require 3 across but might involve different kids using it on different days

Combo - Maestro for 3 across and high harness height and Frontier for no rethread harness. Use Maestro where 3 across is needed and Frontier when frequent height change is needed

Booster - Highback TBs and backless literiders or cosco highrises.

Try to avoid situations where you need 3 across and need to change harness heights frequently cause I can't think of a seat that is narrow and has a no rethread harness.

CA installs center in my 04 sienna le8 and i can still flip both out board seats down, but not all the way forward. If that gives you any indication of width. Adults fit next to it no problem.

I wouldn't want to have to install the CA so reclined. With my kids I would make the parental decision to install more upright since it passed testing that way but with other people's kids I try not to make those kinds of decisions. If I had a complete air I would be fine installing it more upright with the written consent of the company (which I believe is posted somewhere) even for other people's children but I wouldn't go out and buy a new one.

I would probably rec the CA as a semi-narrow FFing seat. It's not Radian-narrow, but it's a lot easier to adjust.

TBH, I would have a really hard time making recs based on that situation. It's probably due to my own experiences -- what I need for share-able seats and 3-acrosses doesn't help. I would be more likely to explain to a dcp that they're going to need to look at the kids they have and vehicle and be aware of some options. What works for "now" may not work six months or a year from now, as kids grow or as different kids fill their spots.

Taking 3-across OUT of it: EFT65, TF for RF seats, TF/CA for FF seats, Turbo for HBB and Literider/Cosco Highrise. I might consider recommending a CCO if the dcp often has infants and is not married to a bucket, as a narrow alternative to the Radian. If 3-a is a frequent necessity, I would rec a Radian and suggest the dcp put a full-time kiddo in it. (Most dcp have some f/t and some p/t kids, so they could do something like a RN/EFT65 plus a third seat, and use the EFT for the shared-spot kids.)

I might -- might -- mention the SmartSeat, if I had a dcp who had kids of vastly different ages sharing a spot. If it had come out even six months sooner, I would have owned one just for that reason.

Sorry, I got a little long and rambly... hope it helps.

Thank you for your opinions! It really does make sense. :)
