What seats to bring on the plane?

We haven't flown with 3 kids before and I was wondering which seats to bring.
My kids are as follows:
DD1 is 6 yo 48lbs and 48" rides in a FF Radian XTSL or Graco TB
DS is 3 yo 40lbs 36" rides in a FF Marathon Classic and some times FF Radian
DD2 is 8 months about 17bs. rides RF in a Graco Safeseat Step1

We have 2 Radian XTSL, 1 TB, 2 Marathon Classics and 1 Graco Safeseat.

What should we bring? And how?

If we bring the infant seat, do we need to pack the base separately? Or should we just bring 2 Marathons? Then how do we carry all these things? We have a stroller frame for the infant seat and then a Mac Volo. Not sure which to go with. I'm a little bit concerned about how the Radians will install in whatever car we rent just because I've had such a hard time installing them in our Prius. Help please? Advice? TIA! :D

I'd have the 6-year-old carry his/her own backless Turbo.

I'd fold the Radian and use the carry strap to carry it (or get a second strap and wear it like a backpack).

Then I'd take the infant seat and either balance it in the umbrella stroller (no kid) and wear/carry the baby, or snap it into the frame (with kid when necessary). Don't bother packing the base, just practice installing baseless.

Thanks Jennie!

Should I bring the back of the TB or just have her use it as a LBB?

And would you order one of these:

or does this work better:
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Sunshine-Kids-Radian-Travel-Black/dp/B002DGSWKE/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_2"]Amazon.com: Sunshine Kids Radian Travel Bag, Black: Baby[/ame]

It's not that much more for the bag. That was super helpful and off to figure out how to install the Safeseat baseless.

Also, do I need to get a bag for the stroller? I'm thinking of bringing the Maclaren Volo. It's 6 years old and has been well loved, so I won't be upset if it has to be replaced. ;)

If you can fit the back of the Turbo in your luggage or something, bring it. Otherwise, for a vacation, I'm fine with a 6-year-old in a backless.

I'd just get the strap for the Radian. If you get the bag, it's just one more step you need to deal with, you know? That's a matter of preference though.

Also a matter of preference with a bag for the stroller. For an older stroller, I probably wouldn't bother because, again, it's an extra step. (I had one once and wound up not using it. It's already so stressful getting on the plane I didn't want to spend extra time on the ramp trying to shove the thing in there.)

I've flown with an umbrella stroller several times and mine has a bag and I think I only put it in there once. It is a hassle, because you're sort of frazzled when you leave it. People behind you wanting to board, kids and a gazillion things, getting the car seat out of it (the baby was usually held or on my back), blah blah....I just folded it and hoped for the best. LOL. Got lucky and have never had an issue, but it is a $50 Chicco stroller that I do love but is not irreplacable. I would worry more about something fancier I couldn't afford to replace!

Ok, I'm going to order the strap and go bagless. The Volo has traveled with us when we flew with DD1 and it survived and I really can't fathom dealing with a bag along with the 3 kiddos and carseats. Thank you!
