Question Cracked foam!

I was washing the cover of my son's Roundabout and he cracked the safety foam from the back in half! I almost had a heart attack! I'm pretty sure this means it's unusable, but is there any way this seat can be salvaged? It's not safe to use it with the foam cracked or glued together, right? I'm going to call Britax in the morning and see if they can send me a replacement foam.

This is exactly what Britax told me to do. They said to tape the break so the foam was 1pc and it would be fine to use untill the replacement was recieved

I ended up running out and buying a cosco scenera to use until I fixed his seat. Turns out that my local walgreens only has infant seats and belt positioning boosters. I was so pissed that people probably think that when their baby outgrows the baby seat, they can go in a booster.
I found the scenera at Target.
I ordered a replacement foam thingy at Britax's website, so DS should be back in his roundabout soon. And now I have an extra carseat if I ever need it.
Good to know about taping the foam. Thanks all!
