Britax Advocate Opus vs Onyx fabric & child comfort

I have a Britax Advocate in Opus and love it and today I bought a second Advocate for DH's car, this time in Onyx. I didn't realise at first that the fabrics are different with Opus being that soft-to-the-touch velvety feeling fabric and Onyx feeling not at all velvety. We live in the Middle East where you're looking at temperatures in excess of 115 degrees. Granted, ANYTHING is going to get hot but I'm wondering if the Onyx fabric is better or worse than the Opus/Cowmooflage/Anna fabric for making my LO hot and sweaty. I couldn't seem to find any info online. If anyone can advise, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I used to have an Advocate in Opus and now I have a SK Radian in Shadow, which is pretty much the same fabric as the Onyx. It seemed to me that the Onyx type fabric didn't make my godson sweat as much and I live in Phoenix where we see lots of 110+ degree days as well.

I have Onyx in Dallas- I feel it's a lot cooler than the fuzzy fabric. So much that I refuse to get a new seat in "fuzzy". Throw a towel over the seat when it's sitting out and that'll help too (I have a foil cover that works great but not sure if you can find that). I think you'll like the Onyx!
