Question Keyfit 30 vs SnugRide 30/32/35

So its getting to that time that I need to buy a bucket for the newbie due in early August.

I'm trying to decide between the Keyfit 30 and the Snugride 30/32/35 for our 2010 Mazda5. Right now the plan is that the baby will go in the captain's chair behind the driver, but I could also see having the babe in the 3rd row once he is a little older and we are past the intense summer heat.

Are there any pros or cons to either seat? Does either have any quirks installing in the 5?

Which would take up the least amount of room front to back? (This will be out third so someone will be in the third row...)

Is there another infant seat that may work better?

Thanks!

I had the Keyfit (has since expired) and Snugride 32/Safeseat. The Keyfit will take less room front to back. The snugride 32/Safeseat has a larger shell. I was able to keep DD in her seat in DH's car until she was almost 2. I like the lockoff's on the snugride 32's base a little more than the keyfit. The Keyfit fits tiny babies a little better though. We had some trouble get DD to fit in her safeseat at 6 lbs when coming home but she had a tiny torso. I don't have any experience with the Mazda 5 or the Snugride 30 though.
