Any new rigid latch boosters coming?

I like the idea of rigid latch on boosters. There's only two HBB currently, right? The Cybex X-Fix and the Clek Oober? I'm wondering if anyone knows if more might be coming out in the future. I have some time before DD will start using one full-time, but so far the x-fix I have read is uncomfortable for the kids and the oober is uncomfortable on mom & dad's wallet

So... any rumors of other companies expanding on that concept?

Oooh cool! I am drooling over the Kiddy World Plus. I am thinking about getting it for DS to FF in our tiny car so I can get my knees out of the dash... Double points if it has rigid LATCH for DD to use in my car eventually! Although it's probably the other one that would have rigid latch, now that I'm thinking about it. Hmm...

Another thought.. doesn't the cybex have a shield available that mightpossiblysomeday come to the US?

yeah, it's the kiddy without the shield that has rigid latch...

the euro cybex does indeed have a shield... don't know if it will come or not to the us, but anything's possible.

I hope Kiddy gets their shield rated to a higher weight.... I really do... and approves it for non-standard latch spacing... it would be so easy to move from one car to the other, then.
