I have seen some posts now that people have been able to put three car seats in a Honda pilot's 2 nd row. We have two Britax roundabouts and tried a graco infant seat in the middle and it does not fit. How have people been able to fit three car seats in a row? HAve you used the latch system or seat belts? I know booster eats will work but we are years away from that.
ages 2 twins and 1 month. We may need to bite the bullet and buy a mini van
Thanks
Mike

I had two Marathons and a Roundabout with plenty of room to spare. Definitely install the center seat first. I mostly used the seatbelts, because I don't really like LATCH all that much. I may have used LATCH for the outboard Marathon for a while, but I don't remember too well. I think the LATCH pulls the outboard seat a little more toward the center than the seatbelt does, so the seatbelt may work better for 3-across for that reason.

Can you try the infant seat outboard? That might allow some extra room for the width of the handle. It will also be easier to load the seat onto the base if you don't have to lift it over one of the Roundabouts.

I find it's easier to use LATCH for the carseat base (and rear-facing convertible seats), to help prevent tilting by the shoulder belt (although that can be corrected by the use of a locking clip).
