Graco smart seat

I played with it briefly in the store.. my first thought: holy heavy!
I was very impressed with the amount of room my 3.5 yr old had both RF and FF!
The head rest kinda pushes her head forward, but I think with regular use the cover would settle back a bit and help a little..

I installed my nephews on Sunday. It was a pretty easy install. It's a massive seat, though!

We checked it out at BRU during our massive car seat shopping extravaganza last week. It was nice, good materials, and I like the base concept in a convertible seat. However it was bulky and very heavy. It was also expensive!

I was playing with it at bru yesterday and i think i fell in love lol. The weight doesnt concern me since i very rarely take the seats out of my truck. I just wonder how a newborn will fit in it. Good thing i have 7 months to decide lol.

I played with one for about 45 minutes when BRU first got them in. It's large, it's heavy, I don't really like the base idea, and in FF mode the headrest just seems too awkwardly high for my liking when the harness is adjusted properly at/above shoulders. Because of that, my gut tells me that many less-informed parents will adjust the headrest "better" and have the harness straps below the shoulders.

I guess I like the long-term-you-only-need-one-seat idea behind it, but I won't ever buy one. But, then again, I'm not really a huge Graco fan anyways, so take that FWIW.
