Jennie-O Turkey Store, a Willmar, Minn. establishment, is recalling approximately 54,960 pounds of frozen, raw turkey burger products that may be contaminated with Salmonella. The products were packaged on Nov. 23, 2010 and were distributed to retail establishments nationwide.

Fresh Express is voluntarily recalling 2,939 cases of 9 oz. Bag Spinach with Product Codes starting with H081 and H082, UPC Code of 7127913204 and Use-by Dates of April 6 and 7 out of an abundance of caution due to a positive test result for Salmonella from random sample testing. The recalled product was distribution to Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Maine, with possible redistribution to New Jersey, Virginia, Delaware, Vermont, New Hampshire, West Virginia Ohio and DC.

Centurion Medical Products Corporation, of Williamston, Michigan, has initiated a recall of certain customized convenience kits that contain Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, 0.9% 30 mL Multiple Dose Vials manufactured by Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and distributed by American Regent, Inc. This action is in response to American Regent’s recall of three lots of vials because some may contain visible particulates.

As a follow up to the communication issued on September 16, 2010, bioMérieux, Inc. is voluntarily expanding its worldwide product recall of VITEK® 2 Gram Negative Susceptibility Cards containing the antibiotic Piperacillin/Tazobactam (TZP). bioMérieux has provided instructions to its customers informing them that VITEK® 2 susceptibility testing results for TZP for the organisms listed above are potentially inaccurate and should not be reported.

AVNS Inc announced today it is voluntarily recalling THE BEST Enhancement Supplement. AVNS Inc is conducting a voluntary recall after being informed by their manufacturer, Drive Total Energy, that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lab analyses found that the products to contain Sulfoaildenafil, an analogue of Sildenafil, an FDA-approved drug used in the treatment of male Erectile Dysfunction (ED), making these products unapproved new drugs.

Medela, Inc. is initiating a safety notification on the power adaptor (also referred to as the transformer) used with the Pump In Style® Advanced (PNSA) family of breastpumps. When not handled properly, a small percentage of these power adaptors can develop damage.
