a friend of mine has a dd who is complaining that her Recaro is "too tight" (in the shoulder area). is there a thread or link that someone has comparing the internal width (around the shoulders) of high back boosters? my friend really wants to avoid going to a low back booster but her daughter is 9 (though small, 70 lbs...dont have the height/weight right now).
thanks!

FWIW, the vivo is tight in the shoulders. My 11 year old complained about it and she's not that broad. The parkway sg/l was comfy for her.

sometimes I think I may be the only one with a wide-shouldered child who didn't complain... Jeffrey was using the tallest setting when he borrowed his sister's pink vivo because his monterey's cover was in the wash and he didn't want to use his backless booster... if Ruthie hadn't outgrown the Nauti so fast, I was gonna let him (because he asked) make it his spare in his dad's car.

His way of sitting in it was to put his arms on either side around the body wings or to fold them on his lap (unless he was playing ds or reading, but he never did that on the handful of times he used it)... or he put his arms up and held onto the headwings with his hands... which was the primary one... he did that in the monterey, too, there, when he had the room to do it... and then he'd close his eyes and just rest.
