Hi there! I'm Tasha, and I have a little 3 month old baby boy.
We were involved in a car accident a few months ago and will now need to purchase a new car seat (and car!). The car seat we had did recline quite far back, so the passenger seat had to be moved forward. In the car accident, I was in the passengers seat when the air bag went off - as the seat was so far forward, the air bag hit me in the chest, which was very painful - something I'd like to avoid happening again!!
We have now purchased a new car - a 2007 Toyota Corolla Station Wagen. The car seat we are looking at is this one: http://www.kiwibaby.co.nz/afawcs...0122065/SUBID=/ID=859/SID=430708394/productdetails.html (we want a car seat that will stay rear-facing as long as possible). Do you think this car seat will be able to be installed in our car okay? Will the passenger seat need to be moved quite far forward since the car seat is so tall? Will the passenger in the front be in the path of the air bag?!
