Which infant/child seat to choose?

I'm trying to help someone pick a seat to have as part of a giveaway. There is a $250 CDN limit (incld taxes).

So far I've narrowed it down to (but am open to suggestions):

Graco MyRide (RF 40lbs FF 65lbs)

or

First Years True Fit (RF 35lbs FF 65lbs)

or

Safety 1st Air Protect (RF 40lbs FF 50lbs)

What do you all think? What are your experiences with these seats? Are there others I should consider (please remember the budget).

Thanks in advance!

What/where is the giveaway for? Is there a huge mix of kids in the group or are they mostly one age...or not even born yet (prenatal group)? Such a hard choice b/c each of these seats has great features but not one of them is great for everything.

There are no children in mind at all. The winner could be anyone.

I'm just looking for a good overall seat that has good value for that dollar amount.

I love love love our my rides. DD was 20" long coming home from the hospital and DS is 35 lbs and pretty darn tall for 20 months and both are RF and fit their seats perfectly.

Out of those choices I would say True Fit.

- built in lock-offs
- installs well ff'ing in most vehicles which the My Ride can be hit or miss
- fits newborns well and the complete air doesn't
- 35lb rf'ing limit - not the highest out there, but plenty for most kids
- taller harness slots than the My Ride - will fit a good 1 to 1.5" longer by torso height (installed) Complete Air is taller, but again - not a good fit on small babies.

Down side is that the adjuster can be hard to access when rf'ing in some vehicles, and in some vehicles the lock-offs can be difficult. In comparison to the other 2 seats though - and with not knowing the age/size of kid of the potential recipient, I think it is the safest bet. I love the My Ride and Complete Air too, but with the size of kid and the vehicle being random, the TF comes out on top in my opinion.
