So I had to take out XTSL out of the car today and put it in my sitters car. I noticed that the rear facing foot is bent. What do I do? Is it still safe to use?

The other foot also has stress marks in it...

Can you install it too tight?

I also noticed that the foam in the seat is flaking off. There was a bunch of yellow dust on theseat under the XTSL and in the LATCH path. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my foam?

Thanks for the advice!!!!

ETA: The seat belt RF install in my sitters Explorer was UNBELIEVABLY easy!!!!

I had the EXACT same thing happen with my son's XTSL. I called SKJP and Ross said it was fine but sent me another one anyways. I think I was installing it too tight :

Mine did that also. Well one of the three of mine. I called and got someone that wasn't Russ. They said it was fine but sent me another. I would mention the foam too.
