Funny that they sent you a new safeseat shell. When I called them about 4 months ago because the lock is broken on the handle of the 2006 SS I use, they offered me the $50 coupon and told me they didn't have any more SS shells because they no longer make the seat. Crapheads....:mad:

Weird. It was a Portica one. DOM was in 2008, so I got another year on it. Mine was a French Roast from 2007.

Got the sticker today. They also told me when I contacted them on my own (before Trudy helped) that they'd give me only a voucher, and that they were out of shells.

Just curious, was the harness included with the shell? Mine's been twisting so much lately.

"We're out of shells" must just be their first line of response to try and get people to take the coupon. Well, cat's out of the bag Graco......WE KNOW YOU HAVE SHELLS!!!!!! :p
