Lennox Hearth Products Recalls Lennox Shadowdance Natural Gas Log Set Burner Assemblies Due to Risk of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. Sold by: Fireplace and HVAC retailers and installers nationwide from August 2007 through December 2010 for between $700 and $850.

E&J Brandy Announces A Nationwide Recall Of Stainless Steel Flasks Due To Possible Lead Risk. Consumers should immediately stop using the stainless steel flask sold in E&J® VSOP gift sets in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and in E&J® XO gift sets sold in 2006. This voluntary recall pertains only to stainless steel flasks manufactured for E&J Brandy because laboratory results revealed that brandy stored in the flask under certain conditions may show elevated levels of lead. These gift sets were sold throughout the United States through a variety of retail stores.

Taylor Farms Pacific has recalled approximately 64,000 pounds of chicken and pork products because the broccoli used in these products may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The products were produced between Feb. 6, 2011 and Feb. 23, 2011 with sell by dates between Feb. 7, 2011 and Mar. 7, 2011. The products were shipped to retail distribution centers in Ariz., Calif., Colo., Ore., Utah, Nevada and Wash. Recalled brands include Raley's, Tayler Farms, SYSCO, TFarms, Signature Cafe.

DeFranco and Sons of Los Angeles, CA, is voluntarily recalling bulk and consumer-packaged in-shell, hazelnut and mixed nut products containing hazelnuts because they may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (E. coli O157:H7). DeFranco and Sons received the in-shell nuts from suppliers or growers and subsequently distributed the nuts nationwide and to Canada. The affected nuts listed below were distributed between 11/2/10 and 12/22/10 under the Sunripe, George Packing, Firestorm Farms, and Northwest Hazelnuts Brands, though some may have been repackaged under other brands or sold as bulk.

New Market Poultry is recalling approximately 3,339 pounds of ice-packed, whole chicken products that may be adulterated due to leaking cooler condensate. The chicken products were produced on Feb. 23, 2011 and inadvertently shipped the same day to six distribution centers in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Farmington, N.Y.

W H & Group LLC. is recalling Dried Fish discovered by New York State Dept. of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors during a routine inspection and subsequent analysis of product by food lab personnel confirming that the fish was not eviscerated prior to processing. This product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause Botulism. The product was sold in New York State.

Daiei Trading Co., Inc. is recalling Gourmet Family Brand Large Mouth Smelt Komochi Shishamo because it has the potential to be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum. Product is sold in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina through retail stores.

WellPet LLC announced today it has voluntarily recalled certain lots of Wellness® canned cat food. Some of the recalled canned cat food lots might contain less than adequate levels of thiamine.
