Need options for doubles...

Baby #2 is due end of July. DS#1 will be 21 months, so will still need to ride (and be contained) for a while. I'd also like to be able to use an infant carrier with it (Graco snugride). Don't think DS would like the bottom seat on the P&T at all...he'd go crazy not being able to see and I have no doubt he'd stick his fingers in the wheels. And I don't think a sit & stand is a viable option for us right now either...again, he'd want to be facing out and I need to keep him restrained. So what are my options? Don't really care if it's tandem or side by side. Other than being able to get it in and out of the trunk, don't care much about weight either. It will be used for both outside walks (paved sidewalks only) and mall crawling. I'll admit I don't know much about strollers. Right now we have a Quattro Tour (only because it matched the infant seat) and a Maclaren Triumph (which we use most of the time). So all you stroller experts out there please weigh in!

Thanks!

I have not used any of these, just things I've seen doing my research...

There is a sit-n-stand model (I thought it was Graco, but I can't find it--never mind it was a Baby Trend) that has a removable rear seat so it starts life as an in-line double and then converts to a sit-n-stand. Saw it at the mall last weekend with the two seats and they were facing each other. Rather nice to have seating configuration options.

There is a Kolcraft Options Tandem that a gal I know with twins just got and really likes. The seats offer 4 different configurations (but no sit-n-stand).

I would go to a store that has a lot of different stroller models on display with the car seat and your son and test out some. He may like being side-by-side over in-line. And depending on the model he may seem squished with the car seat. And you may find you absolutely love/hate a particular style.

Good luck in your double stroller quest!
