Question Twin daughters - need convertibles

Good morning all! I am hoping for some advice. My daughters are very small - 15lbs, 26" at 10 mos. We are currently in a Chicco infant seat and love it.

I am trying to take advantage of the 25% off trade-in for Babies R Us to purchase the next car seat for the DDs. Knowing that we have limited funds and that I want to keep the girls RF for the next 1-2 years - what would you recommend?

I hope you are not going to trade in your keyfits... they are in great shape and you would get more for them by selling them than you would trading them in.

if you need things to trade in, I recommend looking at the free section of craigslist, yard sales, and even the baby section of craigslist... and snagging some free/very cheap expired seats to do that with.

not knowing what car you have, but on a limited budget, I'm probably thinking Graco Myride... it's a great seat, under 150 dollars, and is easy to install and easy to use.

I agree with everything the pp said. I wanted to though out a couple of other ideas too. You might want to look at the Evenflo Triumph 65 or the Complete Air. I saw the Complete Air with the 50lb forward-facing limit on clearance at Toys R Us last week. I think they were marked down to around $100.

Hi! I have twin girls that are 9 months

A while back Target had a sale on the Britax Roundabouts for $100...so I got 2 of those. They are currently in them.
Their dad has the Complete Air ones for them in his car.

YAY for wanting to rearface them for 1-2 more years!! Good decision because they are so much safer that way.

I'd check out the Graco MyRide 65, Safety 1st Complete Air, and Evenflo Triumph 65. Those are great extended rearfacing seats.
