Britax LATCH Belt Twisted

Help!
My parents took Bella to NY for the Weekend and took the Frontier85. She had a potty accident, so they removed the seat, and along with a few minor install mistakes, something really bizarre happened~~ the LATCH belt is now twisted so that one LATCH Buckle is right side up, and the Other is upside down (when the belt is lying flat).. I have NO IDEA how that could even happen.. I was dumbfounded...

I had to install it in -3 degree weather this morning before heading to work, so i havent had time to take it inside to fool around and figure it out... but with a quick look, it doesnt even make sense as to how i can flip it back over... ??

Has anyone run across this before??

TIA

Sometimes vehicle seatbelts do that. It's a pitb to fix- and in your temps I would do a seatbelt install until you can bring it inside to fix it. You'll have to angle the strap and fold it, then feed the fold through the latch anchor to get it untwisted. Good luck!
