Another seat? Help me think this through please

I have many seats. My kids are in many vehicles. I don't trust others to install my kids' seats. And here I am wondering if I should take advantage of the BRU trade in and buy at least one more seat. I have at least two, maybe three expired seats to trade in, so I can get up to three new seats 25% off. I want to maximize my seat usage so I am committing to using some seats that if I had unlimited money I would consider not using because I don't love them (ex ff MA). I am not willing to turn my just turned 2 yo ff yet as 90% of our driving is on undivided highways because of where we live. ODS is not truly booster ready, but buying a $45 seat to keep in DH's car for a true emergency made better financial sense. Every car except the Accord has or has been retrofitted with tether anchors.
Kids' current stats are in my siggy. My current set up is
03 Pilot (my daily driver): rf MA, ff XTSL until YDS hits 33 lbs, then it will be ff MA, rf XTSL.
07 Sentra (My mom's, three days/week, lives with me): ff FR85, rf CA
9? Accord (MIL's, three days/week): rf MA, ff GN. I have no idea what I'll do here when YDS is hits 33 lbs.
96 Altima (DH's, emergencies only): rf WZ (exp 1/18), hb TB
90 Ranger (DH's, quarterly): ff XTSL or GN tethered

Summary of seats:
2- 33 lb MAs DOM 2006 & 2007 (and an expiring WZ)
CA DOM 2009
XTSL DOM 2010
GN DOM 2009
FR85 DOM 2009
hb TB DOM 2010
In three pounds, I will have only two rf seats my 2 yo can use. For three vehicles and I can't move the seats due to scheduling issues. My new work schedule will involve my MIL having both kids Mon, taking one kid to school and picking him up and keeping the other on Tues, and my mom dropping both kids off at school with me picking up on Wednesday. My mom will have both boys on Sunday. Is that confusing to you too?

So, I guess realistically I need to buy another ERF seat because I can use either of the MAs ff for ODS. That would give me four seats (and a half) for only ODS to use. Right?
So with a 30 lb 2 yo, what's an inexpensive seat that will last at least long enough to make it worth it? I'm thinking Safety 1st OnSide Air, MR or EFTE/EFTA. My finances say I shouldn't be getting another seat, but I'm working a schedule that dictates my kids ride in at least three vehicles in a period of four days....
In my fantasy world, I'd buy another ERF seat or two and another GN or two and rehome the MAs, but I do so love the Speedway MA and it expires in two years. Or the TF would rf to 40 and I could love it again.

Not to hijak, but...Is there a trade in event coming up? I'm in the market for a new seat, but could hold off if it is.
