3 across in Tahoe

My husband and I are unexpectedly expecting baby #3 in September. Our first 2 kids are in front facing Marathons. The new baby will be in a Graco Snugride. Will all 3 fit safely in the middle row of my 2005 Tahoe and, if so, how (LATCH, no LATCH, order)?

Thanks!

I don't know how much wider the Suburban is then a Tahoe...but I know I can do that combo in my Suburban without any problems. Do you have the 3rd row in case they don't fit? And can put the oldest one in the 3rd row?

I would think a Tahoe bench should be wide enough to fit 3 seats, but I haven't personally done it. If your two older kids aren't twins, I would put the oldest FF in one of the outboard spots, the middle child in the middle of the bench and the baby seat behind the driver's seat. So long as the other two kids are safe FF (what ages, weights are they?) then that should work. If you have trouble bucking the middle child and the oldest can do it themselves, you might switch those two.

I think you could fit just about any 3 seats across back there. A regent with 2 average/narrow seats, 3 average-wide ones, etc. I mean, I doubt I could fit in 3 regents, but for the most part, you've got tons of room to play with there.
I'd just go to BRU and take an infant seat out there to test out. Or go ahead and take a Marathon out there to test it so you'll know in the future?
I'd probably put them in this order - MA/MA/SR or the reverse. With the oldest FF kid outboard.
How old is the oldest? If it's a tight squeeze, and you want to keep the oldest harnessed as long as possible, I'd consider the Regent. It puzzles pretty well with the MA.

I can get a Regent and 2 Marathons in the back of my Tahoe; I doubt you'll have a problem at all with getting 2 MAs and a Snugride :D

Seating wise, i'd put baby outboard passenger with LATCH and then the 2 MAs center with seatbelt and driver outboard LATCH.

You won't have any issue installing 3 wide in your Tahoe. You will have LATCH in the center & driver outboard so use that if you can get a solid install and then use the vehicle seatbelt for the passenger outboard position.

The Suburban is exactly the same width as the Tahoe. The only differance between the two is the Suburban is longer/more rear cargo area.
