Roundabout and FPSV questions

My questions about the FPSV...

1. Is the fabric really awful? I read that it feels like camping chairs. Is it polyester?

2. Does it have the EPS foam behind the head or just on the sides?

Roundabout questions.....

1. Is the 30 inch RF limit set in stone or is it like infant seats where there is some leeway depending on the torso length etc.? Why is it the only one with a height limit? (that I have seen so far)

2. Same as above.. Foam behind the head?

I can't answer your Roundabout questions since I don't have one of those but I can for the FPSVD

1. Is the fabric really awful? I read that it feels like camping chairs. Is it polyester? I don't think so. I've heard varying things. I have the Red/Black ones though. They are a cottony feeling. Not a soft cottony, but not a rough one either.

2. Does it have the EPS foam behind the head or just on the sides? They are like all the other Britax's and have it all over the seat.

RF height limits are not set in stone. They depend on when the child's head has outgrown the seat. The FPSVD will last you a lot longer than the Roundabout because it's built on the Marathon shell, which is taller.

I think the fabric is nylon. It's not terrible, but it's not velvety or like real fabric.
