Anyone want to get rid of a Britax....???

Ok, someone told me they thought it was ok to post this here since I can't post it on the sale forum.

I really want to get a Britax for my daughter ... a DC, MA or even a Regent. DH has put a cap on my spending and said a FPSVD ($130ish) is ok but he can't ok more than that on a seat. I am wondering if there's anyone (reliable and trustworthy) who's willing to give up a Britax with some life left in it for very little...basically I am asking for pity!!!

And if this isn't ok...then just delete the post!! Thanks!!

FWIW---

A FP SVD pretty much is a Marathon. The current FP seats are made by Britax. You lose 10 pounds FF weight, but outgrowing the seat by 55 pounds is more likely than 65 anyway. You can't tether RF, RF untethered is certainly safer than FF. It also doesn't have the lock-offs, but if you have locking seat belts, you don't need them anyway. If you don't have the locking seat belts, you'll need to use a locking clip. Honestly it's not THAT hard, just a lil tricky.

I'd go ahead and get a new FP SVD rather than a used Britax that you'd have to replace sooner than necessary. This way you'll probably be able to go straight to a high back booster.
