Silver and Gold Metallic Taper Candles Sold Exclusively at Yankee Candle Stores Recalled by General Wax & Candle Company Due to Fire Hazard. Sold exclusively at: Yankee Candle stores nationwide from October 2010 through November 2010 for about $2.

Meijer Recalls Touch Point Oscillating Ceramic Heaters Due to Fire Hazard. Sold exclusively at: Meijer stores in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio from October 2009 through October 2010 for about $25.

L.L.Bean Recalls Folding Camp Rockers Due to Fall Hazard. Sold exclusively at: L.L.Bean stores nationwide, llbean.com and through the L.L.Bean catalog from April 2009 through July 2010 for about $50.

Optimus Nova and Nova+ Camping Stoves and Equipment Recalled by Katadyn North America Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at: Specialty outdoor and sporting goods retailers in the United States and Canada and on the Internet from January 2009 through September 2010 for between $150 and $180. The pumps and spare parts kits were also sold separately for between $15 and $50.

Robert Bosch Tool Corp. Recalls Bosch Hammer Drills Due to Electrical Shock Hazard. Sold at: Home improvement, hardware and major retailers nationwide and various distributors from September 2009 through August 2010 for between about $140 and $220.

Artisan Confections Company is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of its Dagoba Organic Chocolate new moon Rich Dark Chocolate 74% cacao 0.32 ounce squares because they may contain Salmonella. The recalled products were sold nationwide online and through natural/specialty food retail outlets after October 27, 2010.

In consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., is recalling, from the wholesale and retail level, three TYLENOL® Cold Multi-Symptom liquid products in order to update the labeling for these products. McNeil Consumer Healthcare initiated the recall after an internal review revealed that information about the presence of alcohol from flavoring agents was noted as an inactive ingredient listed on the package, but not on the front panel of the product. Certain flavoring agents contribute small (< 1%) amounts of alcohol.

In consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of one product lot of ROLAIDS® Extra Strength Softchews, Cherry Flavor, 36 count package distributed in the United States. The recall was initiated as a precaution following consumer complaints of an uncharacteristic consistency or texture, traced to crystallized sugar in the product.

In consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of all product lots of Children's BENADRYL® Allergy FASTMELT® Tablets, in cherry and grape flavors, that were distributed in the United States, Belize, Barbados, Canada, Puerto Rico, St. Martin, and St. Thomas and all product lots of Junior Strength MOTRIN® Caplets, 24 count, that were distributed in the United States. The recall was initiated after a review, conducted as part of McNeil's Comprehensive Action Plan, revealed insufficiencies in the development of the manufacturing process.

Calabro Cheese, a East Haven, Conn. establishment is recalling approximately 57 pounds of Rotolini, meat and cheese roll appetizer products, that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The antipasto products were produced on Nov. 15, 2010, and distributed to warehouses and retail outlets in Boston and Springfield, Mass. as well as Westport, Conn.

Bravo Farms is expanding its recall to include all Bravo Farms cheese. Bravo Farms had previously issued a recall on its Dutch Style Gouda, and now out of concern for any further contamination we have decided to further expand the recall to include all of our cheeses. Bravo Farms sells a variety of cheeses at retail stores throughout the US, mainly on the west coast, including Gouda, Pepper Jack, Tulare Cannonball, and several different styles and flavors of Cheddar cheese.

Whole Foods Market announces that one of its suppliers, Bravo Farms of Traver, California, has issued a voluntary recall due to evidence of Listeria and E. coli contamination at their plant. Bravo’s products at Whole Foods Market stores in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington are part of this recall since they were cut and packaged in clear plastic wrap and sold with a “Distributed by Whole Foods Market” sticker. Cheese products include: Sage Cheddar, Silver Mountain Cheddar, Chipotle Cheddar, Premium Block Cheddar, Premium White Chunk Cheddar, Chipotle Chunk Cheddar, White Black Wax Cheddar.

WalkMed Infusion LLC, Englewood, Colorado, is conducting a nationwide recall of Triton Pole Mount Infusion Pumps. The reason for this recall is that the pump door open alarm does not always work on all pumps to alert the user that the pump door is open. The recall includes the serial numbers 001 through 500 and serial numbers TR1401 through TR 2559 manufactured and sold before the end of June 2010.

Advanced Bionics (AB), a global leader in developing advanced cochlear implant systems, announced today that it has notified the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) that it will voluntarily recall its HiRes 90K cochlear implant device and is retrieving all unimplanted devices in distribution. This action is being taken in response to two confirmed instances where the product experienced a malfunction requiring explantation.
