One more bundle me question

I know the Original ones are waterproof/resistant, but do you think much water/snow would really soak in at all? We'd be outside for up to 30 minutes, but probably only with light flurries in the air.

I wouldn't be terribly worried about flurries since it is fleece (that doesn't hold water like some fabrics) and I think the original version is thicker too so less likely the water will soak through. I remember reading that the urban and original are intended for the same temperature, but the urban has the wind/water barrier and I think the original does it by being a little thicker. but I am certain. Can anyone else confirm this? Although, when I had the chance to get the wind/water barrier, I was happy to get it, our infant stroller blanket was just fleece and that particularly didn't bother me. I hope I've been of some help. :)

I have the urban and it definitely is more water resistant than the original, but not as thick. I think it's probably just as warm. I like it better because it's also more packable. But I think the original will probably be fine for your needs.

FWIW - gilt will be having JJ Cole again tomorrow night. Last time they did have urbans and they were fairly reasonable.

If you need an invite, they can be found here
