hoping I gave the right advice. A friend called me and told me that she needed to transport her 2 cousins and her own 7yr old in another family members car. One of the cousins is also 7 and both 7yr olds are too big for a harness. The other cousin is a baby in a rear-facing seat. She asked how she could safely transport them (as for some reason there is only one working lap/shoulder belt, and one lap belt only in the back of the car, I didn't ask why, it didn't occur to me.) I told her to put the heavier of the two booster riders in the front seat with the seat pushed all the way back, the baby carseat in the lap belt only position and the other booster rider in the lap/shoulder belt position and for her to sit in the remaining position without a working seatbelt. better than nothing, right? What would you guys would have recommended? I couldn't think of any thing else to tell her, other than to drive her own car, which she said she couldn't do b/c the transmission is going out and she didn't want to get stuck on the side of the road.
