I'm trying to help a friend out whose DD threw up in her Britax Marathon. Several people suggested soaking the straps to get it cleaned.
I've been reading old posts on this board to find out how to give her information about how to clean it and specifically told her not to soak it. One of our mutual friends asked why not and I tried to explain.
Mutual friend replied, "Luckily, my owner's manual (Britax Boulevard) doesn't say not to soak the straps. Good to know I didn't screw up too badly."
How to respond? I assume that the owner's manual is basically telling you what you can do and they don't have room to include every possibly misuse in the manual. Is there somewhere where Britax specially says what NOT to do?
